5 Ways to Transform Yourself in 2013

There’s no doubt about it, 2013 is going to be YOUR year. You may look at the past twelve months and think, actually, 2012 hasn’t been that great; that you should have made more of an effort. But you know what, 2013 is just around the corner, and is full of loads of opportunities! From personal trainer coursesto finding your vocation in life, we have all the answers on how you can make your life from January onwards feel like a dream. Forget New Year’s resolutions, we’re thinking of the bigger picture. So take a look at our tips on what you can do to make next year the best year yet!

Your look

OK, so 2013 starts with your appearance; are you happy with how you look? If not, then don’t let it get you down. Most people’s goals for the New Year tend to include ‘getting healthier,’ ‘going to the gym more’ or ‘losing weight.’ If this sounds familiar, then we have some more long lasting solutions which we’ll guarantee will get you more active! Why not try some fitness instructor courses? These are a great way of getting in shape whilst making new friends along the way. Or why not find yourself a new hobby? This could be anything from kayaking to ballroom dancing; brilliant ideas to get you having fun in the big outdoors. Once you’ve found a way of getting yourself off the couch and out the door, then it’s time to consider the other aspects of your appearance. Maybe buy a new wardrobe, or try a different hair style. Nice touches like these will get you well prepared for 2013!

Your career

If you don’t like the career you’re in then this could have a huge impact on your happiness for 2013. What you need to do is revaluate what you’re currently doing, and then consider what you’d rather be working in and what you need to do to get there. This is not always a fun task, but you must ask yourself, would you like to be still doing this in the next 40 years? If the answers no, then don’t stay in that field. Yes finding a job is difficult at the moment, but once you do find something you like, it’ll be so worthwhile. So spruce up the old CV and get job searching!

Your social life

This is equally as important as your work life; work hard, play hard. Make sure that you find a nice balance between what you do in the office and what you do at home; don’t let your job take over your home life. Make sure that you make some time for yourself; go on a night out with friends, go and visit family, or perhaps just have a night chilling in front of the TV. Whatever you choose to do, it’s important that you don’t forget some ‘me’ time.
