Sony Launches Most Expensive Tablet: Xperia Tablet Z
The global competition to dominate the Smartphone and Android phone market is at its peak. With more and more companies entering the foray to grab a slice of this lucrative pie, customers seem to be at the better end of the bargain.
India being one of the largest consumer market is one of the top priorities of every consumer goods including Smartphones or tabs. Recently Sony India launched its most expensive Xperia Tablet Z. The tab is loaded with inspiring features and some of the features are tailor made for Indian conditions as well. The design:
Possibly one of the lightest and thinnest tablets available in the market, the Sony Xperia tablet Z weighs just a shade under 500 grams. The 0.27 inch or 6.9 mm thickness is just awesome and it helps the easy handling of the tabletas well. The length and breadth are 172 X 266 mm or 6.8 X 10.47 inches. The display is 10.1 inches TFT and comes with 16,777,216 colours, 1920×1200 pixels. The rectangular design with finely rounded corners also has matte finished brushed plastic back, which makes it easy to grip also. The buttons and other slots have been nicely placed and designed. The buttons are easy to find and use, while the card slot and HDMI port have been carefully covered to prevent dust and water. Excellent design and definitely one to catch the eye.
The Inside:
The Sony Xperia tablet Z runs on Google Android jelly bean 4.1 version. The tablet runs on Qualcomm’s quad-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, which means it has better parallelism and also better processing. With a 2GB RAM, and a micro SD card slot for expandable memory it is sure not to run out of memory space. The tab offers fast computing and excellent graphics without draining battery excessively.
Other features:
Display: powered by the Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 powered 10.1 inch Reality Display is brilliant to say the least. They enhance and add to the colour and clarity of each image and offers an unparallel viewing experience. This is further accentuated with the 1080X1920 pixel screen resolution. It is truly HD viewing experience on a tab.
Camera: The camera at the back of a Sony Xperia tablet Z is a 8.1 mega pixel one. This not only provides stunning pictures in different light conditions, there is also a flash light too. The front camera is a 2.2 MP one. The camera offers a 16x zoom also.
Entertainment: the Sony Xperia tablet Z offers all the games, movies, books and other entertainment that you can think of. They are just ready for streaming or downloading. Some of these entertainments come pre-loaded, but the rest is just a few taps away. The stunning graphics and processor takes gaming to the next level. One of the most impressive about Sony made phones have been their quality of sound. 3D surround sound technology and Clear Audio+ gives a rich and clear sound to make music more lively and enjoyable.
Apps: there are many preloaded apps and many waiting to be installed. Most interesting one is the power management tool, which allows whitelist-ing of some applications and cutting of data connection for the rest when the tab is not in use.

There are loads of other interesting and impressive features. The tab has impressive connectivity among other aspects. But the most important feature is that it offers IPX5/7 (Water-resistant) & IP5X (Dust-proof) features that are by far the best in any tab till now, which also makes it a perfect one for Indian conditions.
