few days ago,  we talked about the highest selling singles of 2012 but what I always find interesting is that a high selling single does not always mean a high selling album. Yesterday’s list of the ten best selling singles of 2012 does not match up with our list of the 10 best selling albums of 2012. There are a few artists that had best selling singles but didn’t crack the top ten for the albums. On the other side of the coin, there are a number of artists that had a top ten selling album but didn’t crack the top ten for singles. Was the whole album better? One song just wasn’t enough?
