Leyla Ghodabi has kicked off a media storm by claiming that Kanye West cheated on his pregnant girlfriend Kim Kardashian with her. But the drama doesn’t seem to be fazing Leyla Ghodabi in the slightest. In fact the Canadian model was seen flashing a coy smile as she stepped out to run errands on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old, who bears more than a passing resemblance to Kardashian, was dressed in a form-fitting black dress and matching canvas shoes. Ghodabi appears to be relishing in her time in the spotlight, which doesn’t even look set to last 15 minutes. Kardashian’s representatives have denied the reports, while West’s added: ‘This most recent attack on Kanye West and his family is totally without merit.

‘It’s a blatant attempt by a misguided individual who is clearly seeking publicity, and another in a series of malicious stories drummed up by non-credible “news” sources.’ This is a sad attempt to hurt two people trying to live their lives.’ In addition, Kardashian’s best friend Jonathan Cheban stated on Thursday that West didn’t go to the club the night Ghodabi claimed she met him, and was instead with his girlfriend in their hotel room.

‘I was with them that night and I know they never stepped foot into that nightclub,’ Cheban told Sirius XM. ‘Kim and Kanye were at the concert and they went straight to their room and that was it.’ He also claims he spent the following night with the couple in Atlantic City, when Ghodabi alleges she spent the night with West. Cheban states that he and Kardashian have been laughing about the allegations, and the pair were indeed seen in fits of giggles when they were spotted on Wednesday.

‘We were laughing yesterday morning,’ Cheban said. ‘Honestly, after the first two minutes when we read it, about the club and we knew we were there, it wasn’t even discussed- we moved on- we were filming all day. I mean, it’s a joke.’ The pair were seen sharing a joke, which it seems may have been about the rumours, as they made their way to lunch in San Fernando Valley, with Kardashian looking lovely in an olive green maxi dress.

Ghodabi told America’s Star magazine that their fling started in July 2012 and alleges the affair continued even afterKardashian had announced her pregnancy after West dismissed his relationship with the reality star as just ‘for publicity and nothing serious’. Explaining her decision to reveal the relationship, the brunette said: ‘This is going to destroy the Kardashian family. It’s bad. It’s really bad. It’s just embarrassing. But if I were Kim and about to have a baby, I would want to know.’

Ghodabi has remained defiant and even set up a Twitter page on Wednesday to address her critics, or as she put it: ‘To show you guys what I’m really like. Not just doing this for ‘The Fame’.’ Ghodabi, who later deleted her page, then began a Twitter rant. ‘Maybe I went about this the wrong way but how else am I meant to get thru to her? I am NOT the bad guy in this situation. nothing more 2 say,’ she wrote.

‘The woman will always get the blame for everything huh.’
