Coldest Places on Earth is located in the North and South Pole, the record breaking temperatures recording, Antartica, Russia, Alaska and Greenland is records coldest temperature than any other region on Earth. Most of the least recorded temperature is uninhabited and very hard to live.

1. Vostok, Antarctica

2. Plateau Station, Antarctica

The Station was the American research base used until January 29, 1969 and located on the central Antarctic Plateau, it is also the place of world’s coldest measured temperature the recorded least temperature is - 99.8 F.

Oymyakon is a rural locality in Oymyakonsky District in Russia and 30 Km northwest of Tomtor on the Kolyma Highway. It stands at an altitude of approximately 750 meters above sea level, The Russian scientist registered the lowest temperature above - 96.2 F.

4. Verkhoyansk, Russia

Verkhoyansk is a small town in Russia, located on the Yana River, 675 Km from Yakutsk, and the total population is 1311. The lowest temperature recorded there in 1892 was - 90.0 F.

5. Northice, Greenland

It was the research station of British north Greenland Expedition from 1952 to 1954 with an altitude of 2,345 meters above sea level. The lowest temperature recorded in this place is - 87 F on January 1954.

6. Eismitte, Greenland

This is an Arctic Expedition in the interior of Greenland and located 402 Km from the coast at the altitude of 3,000 meters above sea level. The coldest temperature was recorded during the expedition was about - 85 F.

7. Fort Selkirk, Yukon, Canada

10. Rogers Pass, USA

Rogers Pass is stand at the height of 5,610 feet above sea level and is located in Lewis and Clark Country in Montana of USA, lies on the range of Rocky Mountains. The record temperature ever recorded in 1954 of - 70 F.
