Dr. Tahir ul Qadri, the leader of Minhaj-ul-Quran International has moved from Lahore earlier. Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri’s Democracy March started from Lahore on 13h Jan 2013. Dr. Tahir has declared this Long March towards Islamabad as one of the greatest revolutionary step towards the survival of Pakistan. he said that Long March will ensure the end of corrupt system of Pakistan’s political system.

Old men, women and children are also along with the long march. Dr. Tahir addressed media before leaving from Lahore. The participants of Long arch came to Minhaj Center Lahore from where the buses moved towards Islamabad.
