She's riding high on the wave of new motherhood and now Adele has something else to make her smile... a Golden Globe.

Wearing a black Burberry gown, the 24-year-old paid tribute to her baby son - whose name she has yet to reveal - and boyfriend Simon Konecki as she accepted the accolade.

While the gown may have been completely black, the embellished collar added a touch of glamour to her whole look.
She's back! Adele made her first appearance on the red carpet since giving birth at the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday
Not wanting to distract from the jewelled detail, the singer wore her hair in an elaborate and glamorous up do.
Completing her look she wore her usual flick of eyeliner, while her skin looked flawless.
Speaking on the red carpet about making the track, she said: ‘I was very pregnant and very emotional, but it was amazing.’

‘I got the script a long time ago and it took me quite a while for them to convince me.’
She added: ‘It's a big responsibility.’
The usually very private star opened up about becoming a parent, saying: 'Motherhood is lovely, I'm really enjoying it.'
However, asked to reveal the name of her little boy backstage, Adele politely declined, adding: 'It's very personal.'

Adele first announced her pregnancy via her website, writing: 'I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time.'
Mr Bond: Daniel Craig looks cool as he arrives while his wife Rachel Weisz looked stunning
The 24-year-old Adele and the 36-year-old Simon were first seen together in January 2012.
Since then they have resisted the continuous marriage rumours with Adele taking to Twitter to clarify, 'I'm not married.'
Adele was fiercely protective as she walked through the terminal after landing at LAX on Thursday evening, keeping her baby covered in a blanket - only his legs were dangling free in his black and white striped one-piece outfit.
She has still decided to keep her baby’s name a secret.
