The specialty of the watch is a day/night indicator in which the hour numerals change color depending on the night and day time. The numerals have been assigned the color pale blue during night time and black indicating the day time. The new Nicolas Rieussec Rising Hours depends on two discs, one atop the other used for day/night indication.

The exterior looks of the watch clearly announces its inheritance from the Montblanc family but with a unique style of its own. The Rising Hours is available in 950 platinum and in stainless steel variants .The platinum variant being available only in 28 timepieces. What enhances the looks is the grey alligator leather strap with a white gold folding buckle. The Montblanc Rieussec line starts at around $11,000 and is surely an attractive offering of the brand.
